| Marthabelle Leonard founded this little company in 1956. She was one of the very few women in this man's world of printing. She could produce quality printing on small presses that enabled small businesses to buy mailers and+ sales brochures that previously had been too costly. She didn't advertise -- her customers referred all their friends with printing problems to her. Her son Henry left his banking career in Dallas and came home to carry on this tradition and has been sole owner and operator for the past 15 years. He has developed a larger well equipped, one stop shop, facility with a very efficient staff. Henry not only runs a tight print shop, he loves Kansas City and is very civic minded. He is a member of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, the Bacchus Foundation, and its charities and can be seen at Christmas ringing a bell for the Salvation Army. He supports the Chiefs and the Royals. He is a Southwest High School alumni and is very active at a local church. In December 1999, after 29 years, our shop moved from 51st and Brookside to its current location at 5100 Main Street in a building we share with the Plaza Branch Post Office. Today, just as when Marthabelle started this business, we offer quality printing, quick and affordable.
